What this page shows — DawnScan's scanner runs once per trading day and flags a rotating set of roughly 40 candidate stocks based on technical pre-breakout signals. This page cross-references that candidate list against each stock's next known earnings date and shows the ones reporting within 7 days, ordered by how soon they report.
Scope limits — This is deliberately not a comprehensive market-wide earnings calendar. A stock only appears here if it was already a scanner candidate and has a known earnings date on file. Thousands of US-listed companies report earnings every quarter; this page surfaces only the small subset that intersects with the scanner's own candidate pool that day.
What the columns mean — D-day counts trading days until the expected report (D-0 means today). Sector is the company's Yahoo Finance sector classification. Expected Date is derived from the scan's snapshot date plus a trading-day offset — US market holidays aren't adjusted for, so treat it as an approximation and verify against the company's own investor-relations announcement before acting on it.
Data source and refresh — Earnings-date data is collected only for scanner candidates (never for the full ~1,500-ticker universe) as part of the daily scan, sourced via yfinance. The cache refreshes hourly; on weekends and market holidays a currently-empty list is expected, not a malfunction.
