What Does This Score Mean?

The scanner score is a rule-based sum across 14 technical signals, including Bollinger Band squeeze (volatility contraction), OBV accumulation, relative strength (RS), VCP bases, gradual volume increase, and earnings catalysts. A stock that's already run up a lot gets penalized, while a "pre-surge signal" state gets extra points by design — a higher score just means it's closer to a compressed, pre-breakout state, not a guaranteed probability of a rally.
